The Norfolk Sprint Triathlon will start on August 19, 2012 at 7:30am at Community Beach, located at 700 East Ocean View Ave, Norfolk, VA. The swim will be in the Chesapeake Bay (Length TBD, between 400-500 yards). The bike will run from one side, Willoughby Bay back to Community Beach (2 laps), spanning 12 miles. The race will end with a 5k on the beach! So not only will this race be a swimmer-friendly triathlon, but it will also test your running endurance with the 5k run on the beach to end the race!
