The Hampton Roads Sports Commission, in conjunction with Water Country USA, will host the inaugural Water Country USA Kids Triathlon. The Water Country USA Kids Triathlon offers youth athletes, experienced and first-timers alike, the unique opportunity to swim, bike and run in and around Water Country USA. Boys and girls ages 6-10 (junior varsity division) and 11-14 (varsity division) are eligible to participate. Registrants receive a complimentary ‘Stay and Play’ ticket to Water Country USA, valid on June 1 or June 2, 2019 only. All participants receive a race-day ‘Swag Bag’, including an official race shirt, in addition to a finisher’s medal upon completion of the race.

CHKD Sports Medicine Run - 0.5 miles

ALL athletes will follow the same course (distances listed above).

Athletes will still be split into two different divisions so that they are competing with similarly aged individuals.

​Online Registration for the 2019 Water Country USA Kids Triathlon will close at 11:59 PM on Friday, May 31. You may register online or at packet pick-up on May 31 but there will not be Race Day registration available.
