Mini-Camps are set up for the serious high school player who wants to showcase their talents and get on the radar of the ODU Staff.

This is also a great opportunity to learn skills and drills that are taught to the ODU baseball team. Players leave with a good idea of what it is like to be in a college program.

Each Mini-Camp will include agility skills, individual defensive mechanics and bullpen session. Each individual defensive session is led by an ODU Coach. ODU head coach Chris Finwood is our infield instructor, coach Karl Nonemaker works with the Outfielders, Pitching coach Tim LaVigne works with all our pitchers and coach Paul Bottigliero works with our catchers. 

Each Mini-Camp also includes a batting cage session where players learn drills, swing path, and proper swing mechanics that are stressed by ODU hitting instructors.
