Eastern Amateur Golf Tournament

The Historic Eastern Amateur Golf Tournament is turning 60 this year. The coveted tournament returns to Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club in Portsmouth from July 7th-10th. The Eastern Am is one of the longest running men’s amateur events in the country. Past participants of the event include Jim Furyk, Matt Kuchar, Curtis Strange, and Ben Crenshaw. You don’t want to miss an opportunity to see the nation’s best amateur golfers compete during this four-day championship.

Come join the players and special guests for the Longest Drive Competition on Wednesday, July 6th at 6:00pm The longest drive competition is the kick-off to the tournament and will include food and refreshments.  The Eastern Amateur is also seeking sponsorships to help keep the costs low for the golfers, as well as help pay for scholarships that are awarded to high school students in the area.
