Local sailors Anna Tunnicliffe and Debbie Capozzi took another two points this morning, beating Finland and France in the round-robin for the Elliott 6m at the Olympics.
The U.S. team, which also includes Molly O'Bryan Vandemoer of California, on Monday won its race against Portugal but lost to Austrailia, according to the London Olympics website. The team gained a point on Sunday against Denmark.
According to the site, the Elliott 6m event begins with the round-robin, with 12 crews racing each other. The winner of each race receives one point.
The top eight crews advance to the knockout stage where crews race each other. The first crew to win three points wins each series of races.
