Hampton Roads Sports Hall of Fame announces class

NORFOLK
The Hampton Roads Sports Hall of Fame will induct seven new members this year.
The 2013 class: former Old Dominion basketball star Leo Anthony, longtime Maury basketball coach Jack Baker, baseball announcer Marty Brennaman, former ODU baseball coach Bud Metheny, former Monarchs basketball coach Paul Webb, and James and LaVerne Sweat, the husband and wife who've coached at Hampton University and Norfolk State.
The induction banquet is scheduled for Oct. 22 at Scope.
