BRIDGEPORT, Conn.
Nate Guenin had a goal and an assist and Frederik Andersen made 32 saves as the Norfolk Admirals defeated Bridgeport 4-1 on Sunday.
The Admirals (9-11-0-0) have won two straight after snapping a six-game losing streak at Hershey on Saturday.
John Mitchell, Jordan Hendry and Kyle Palmieri also scored for Norfolk, while Peter Holland had two assists.
Andersen improved to 6-5 on the season and had 61 saves on 63 shots over the weekend.
The Admirals stopped six Bridgeport power plays.
Brock Nelson scored for the Sound Tigers (10-9-0-1).
Norfolk will face Hershey at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., in the Washington AHL Showcase. The game will be televised on Comcast SportsNet.
