December 9, 2013Virginia Beach, VA–The Mid Atlantic Football Foundation (MAFF) is pleased to announce the 4th Annual Chesapeake Bowl, December 28th, 2013 at 7:30 pm, at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. The Chesapeake Bowl claims over 300 alumni with 290 student-athletes active alumni throughout the country at virtually every level of college football.

“We are proud of our alumni who participated in our games, but this year has been really special. Chesapeake Bowl alumni participated on championship teams in the ACC (Florida State,) Big-10 (Michigan State) and the Pac-12 (Stanford) this past weekend,” said Sean O’Connor, MAFF’s Director of Business Operations, “And this includes the Football Championship Series play-offs where some of our players can be found on rosters at Towson and Coastal Carolina. Seven of our players in the Chesapeake Bowl will appear in the Army All-American Bowl and the UnderArmour All-American Bowl prior to moving on to college. We are not only providing exposure for these student-athletes, they are getting an early taste of the operational tempo they will experience at the next level.”
The North Team will be coached by Rob Hinson (Timber Creek, NJ,) and the South Team will be coached by Chris Scott (Ocean Lakes, VA.)
