Brandon Jeske, Chris Mecate, Tristan Warner and Billy Curling each defeated opponents ranked in the top 17 nationally to help Old Dominion top Central Michigan 24-7 in a Mid-American Conference wrestling meet Sunday at the Constant Center.

Jeske posted a 7-1 decision over No. 12 Corey Keener at 125 pounds. Mecate, ranked No. 5 at 141 pounds, bested No. 9 Zach Horan 4-2. Warner recorded a reversal and near fall in the closing seconds of his match to defeat No. 17 Luke Smith 6-2 at 157 pounds.

Curling also pulled off a last-second reversal to notch a 5-4 decision over No. 8 Mike Ottinger at 174 pounds.

ODU (7-8, 3-2 MAC) visits Ohio University next Sunday.
