The Recruiting Eligibility Compliance (REC) Forum will be held Feb. 11 from 5-9 p.m. at The Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center.
The free event - sponsored by the Hampton Roads Sports Commission (HRSC), an affiliate of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce - will provide information to students planning to play collegiate athletics.
Local college representatives will discuss the requirements and procedures for Division I, II and III recruitment and eligibility. This is a vital event for student-athletes, parents of student-athletes, guidance counselors and athletic administrators to attend.
Local colleges to attend include Virginia Wesleyan College, Christopher Newport University, Norfolk State University, Old Dominion University, and Chowan University.
