We all know the importance of first responders in our community. Their daily sacrifices, courage, and strength are admirable and have kept us safe, and for that we are thankful. All of us at the Hampton Roads Sports Commission want to show our appreciation through the first-annual Hampton Roads Hero Games that will take place October 5th-8th in Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach.
The Hero Games was created as an appreciation for ALL of our first responders in the Hampton Roads region. Our goal is to provide first responders with an upbeat and lively event where they can enjoy friendly competition, away from the stresses of their everyday jobs. It will be a fun-filled week that our first responders can enjoy with their friends and families! Come out show your support and appreciation, too!
