A Perspective on Race in Sports with Southern's Roger Cador and Norfolk State's Claudell Clark
Claudell Clark, Executive Director of the Hampton Roads Sports Commission, was featured on "The UPSIDE" podcast with Adam Finkelstein last week on the COX Communication's YUR VIEW channel.

The fourth installment of the show themed 'Race in Sports' provided the platform for Claudell and legendary college baseball coach Roger Cador, who was also featured on the show, to discuss the topic of racial inequalities in sports.

The conversation comes at critical time in our nation where racial tension is the subject of daily headlines.

Coach Cador is the 'John Thompson' of college baseball when it comes to black leadership. He is also a member of a Major League Baseball task force to improve African-American participation in the sport.

Claudell Clark is currently in his 13th season as head coach of Norfolk State University and the Executive Director of the Hampton Roads Sports commission.
