Mike London, Tony Brothers, Roberts Jones on Tap in Coming Weeks

NORFOLK, Va. (Nov. 4, 2020) – William & Mary football coach Mike London, NBA referee Tony Brothers and Norfolk state men’s basketball coach Robert Jones will serve as featured guests during November’s episodes of SportsTalk 757, the web series hosted by the Hampton Roads Sports Commission.

London will join HRSC Executive Director Claudell Clark for a special Wednesday edition on Nov. 11 beginning at noon. A Hampton Roads native, London is in his second season as head coach of the Tribe. London has also held the head coaching post at Virginia and Richmond, where he won a Division I FCS national title. He will discuss his playing and coaching career, coaching during a pandemic and current social justice issues. Watch on Facebook live or via Zoom.

Brothers will highlight the Thursday, Nov. 12 episode, which also begins at noon. A Norfolk native, Brothers will soon enter his 27th season as an NBA official. Brothers is also the founder of Men for Hope, Inc., a non-profit foundation aimed to support underserved men and single women parenting young men. Brothers will discuss the NBA Finals and his lengthy officiating career, his local philanthropy, social justice issues and his new business venture in the area. Watch on Facebook live or via Zoom.

Jones will be the featured guest on Thursday, Nov. 19 at a special time of 10 a.m. Now entering his eighth season leading the Spartans, Jones has led NSU to five postseason appearances as head coach and a 75 percent conference winning percentage. He has also guided the Spartans to a pair of 20-win seasons and one regular-season conference title. Jones will join Clark to chat about the upcoming 2020-21 season, the Spartans’ prospects in the MEAC, coaching and recruiting during a pandemic, and more. Watch on Facebook live or via Zoom.
