The Second-Annual Ladies’ Day to Play Golf Tournament
The Hampton Roads Sports Commission had our second-annual Ladies’ Day to Play Golf Tournament on Friday, October 14 at Honey Bee Golf Course in Virginia Beach. It was a beautiful day for golf and there was an awesome turnout of 21 teams competing! Thank you to all the ladies who participated and to all the vendors and sponsors who have been great supporters of the event!
From start to finish, the day was filled with friendly competition, laughter and networking! Below are some of the awards/highlights:
Best Dressed – “Golf Goddesses” from Cox Media
Longest Drive – Brianna McGilvray, from Topgolf
Closest to the Pin – Sharron Kitchen Miller, “Straight Shooters” from Newport News Parks, Recreation and Tourism
