Calling All Ladies

The Hampton Roads Sports Commission would like to thank you again for your support of the AAU Junior Olympic Games! We are finalizing our economic impact analysis, but it was truly a huge win for the community. Up next from the sports commission is a fun golf tournament for the ladies of Hampton Roads!

We are hosting a LADIES’ ONLY Golf Tournament on Friday, October 16 and would love to get the ladies from your company involved! Several teams have signed up with a sales manager that is bringing three current/prospective clients. What a great way to give your staff an opportunity to entertain/thank clients in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Date: October 16

Time: 10:00am – shot gun start

Location: Honey Bee Golf Course (Virginia Beach)

Cost: $500 per foursome

Sponsorships: range from $250-$2,500

Why: Typically, golf tournaments are for men only, so we thought – the ladies of the Hampton Roads business community deserve an opportunity to play as well! The event’s mission and purpose are to have women gather on the golf course for a day of fun, fellowship and friendly competition.

  • We will have a spa on site offering chair massages
  • We’ll have signature beverages
  • Everyone will receive an awesome swag bag
  • Great prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin and hole in one
  • Silent auction – gift cards, home accents/décor, spa goodies and more!
  • $500 cash prize -- while we want this to be a day of fun – we are the Hampton Roads Sports Commission, so we welcome friendly competition. The winning team gets $500!

We already have nine teams signed up, so get your team signed up before we are sold out! Clearly there is demand for women’s only networking opportunities through sporting events.
