Have you ever noticed that many of the local golf tournaments hardly have any female teams? Well, it’s time to let the ladies play! The Hampton Roads Sports Commission is hosting the second-annual Ladies’ Day to Play Golf Tournament on Friday, October 14 at Honey Bee Golf Course in Virginia Beach.

The event’s mission is to have women gather on the golf course for a day of fun, fellowship and friendly competition. What type of fun? We will be featuring signature beverages and hors d’oeuvres at the post-tournament reception, in addition to relaxing massages by a local spa. You will also have an opportunity to bid on silent auction items from local businesses that will satisfy all five of your senses. There will also be prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin and Best Dressed, with the top team of the tournament winning a $500 cash prize! All of this is included with registration, along with the usual cart fees, range balls, and lunch for only $500 per foursome team.
