VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach golden girl Gabby Douglas will be honored at this weekend's Neptune Festival in Virginia Beach.

Virginia Beach Mayor Will Sessoms has declared Sept. 28 as Gabrielle Douglas Day. Sessoms wil present Gabby with a "Key to the City" at 9 p.m. at 31st Street.

Hampton native and gold medalist Francena McCorory will join Gabby and the mayor in a parade Saturday.
