In 1998, the AAU Junior Olympic Games became the catalyst for the Hampton Roads cities to join together and produce national, multi-sport tournaments. Together we are able to offer all the required venues and resources necessary to ensure a successful event. It is because of events like the AAU Junior Olympic Games that we were chosen to host the National Senior Games and considered for a four year commitment to host the Virginia Senior Games.
